After a long day travailing the Olle Trail of Seogwipo, Jeju – we decided it was time for a great meal! We earned those calories! 🤣 We were checking out restaurants in the vicinity and came across a well-recommended SeaBong Restaurant. We decided to check it out — and the bus driver said he would get us within ‘walking distance’ 😊 He even gets out … Continue reading SeaBong Restaurant
The Ocean has its silent caves, Deep, quiet, and alone; Though there be fury on the waves, Beneath them there is none. The awful spirits of the deep Hold their communion there; And there are those for whom we weep, The young, the bright, the fair. Calmly the wearied seamen rest Beneath their own blue sea. The ocean solitudes are blest, For there is purity. … Continue reading The Ocean’s Story Facade

So we decided to reverse the bus trip and pick up where we left off. Our excursion the day before didn’t result in food but we did pass an McD on the … Continue reading More of The Olle Trail

Talk a walk down the Olle Trail of Jeju Island and you come across Oedolgae Rock (외돌개). We set off on our first day towards the Seogwipo Port and Oedolgae was one of the sites we stumbled on. Erosion has slowly left this rock standing as an island alone – probably why its name means ‘Solitary Rock’ or ‘Lonely Rock’. 😭 Kinda sad to think … Continue reading Oedolgae Rock (Jeju)
Street Art in Pyoseon, Jeju alongside the main street leading to Pyoseon Beach. Liv loves the colors in the waves – these gem tones are always eye-catching! I’ve never seen waves you could actually ride before – hoping to see them before we leave! Continue reading Rising with the Waves of Jeju
